Meet Michaël van Robaeys, the ambitious entrepreneur and driving force behind Robaws' software. After a career as a developer of custom ERP systems for construction companies, he learned the ins and outs of the trade and along the way, discovered its biggest pitfalls. The high cost of custom development and the lack of depth led him to the realization that there had to be a better and more affordable way.
The birth of Robaws
Michaël decided to develop a scalable and future-proof product. Under the name of Robaws, he entered the Belgian construction market in 2015. Today, more than 20.000 construction professionals across multiple countries use Robaws for their administration and project management. To top it all off, Robaws won the Deloitte Fast 50 award (one of Europe's most prestigious rankings for fast-growing technology companies) in 2022, and was recognised in 2023 as one of the fastest-growing companies in West Flanders, a province in Belgium.
